Halal Fame Pritam Kagne to debut in Hindi film 31st October

Halal film has made a mark in Marathi Film Industry as the movie has been praised and awarded at many state level film festivals before the release of the film. The protagonist of Halal, actress Pritam Kagne was also nominated for Sahyadri Cine Awards 2016 in the category of The Best Actress for her exceptional performance. Along with her astonishing performance in Halal, this newbie will also be seen in Hindi movie 31^st October along with Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan.The movie is based on a true story, focuses on the aftermath of Indira Gandhi's assassination which occurred on 31 October 1984.

Pritam is going to make her silver screen debut in Bollywood with this film which is going to hit the theatres on 7^th October 2016.The film is directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil. Talking about her debut Pritam said, “I’m portraying the role of Dilpreet, who is onscreen sister of Soha Ali Khan and has her own family which belongs to Sikh community. The movie shows that how Sikh families were trapped in the dangerous position during the anti-Sikh riotslater the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh Bodyguards.”

Pritam has earlier done a Malayalam film Mr. Bean (2013) & a Marathi film Navra Majha Bhavra (2013).
